What is DHA?

DHA is a colorless derivative of vegetable sugar that has been FDA approved for over 30 years. When applied to the skin,DHA darkens the skin by interacting with the amino acids in the dead surface cells found in the outer most layer of the skin (stratum corneum) causing it to  temporarily darken the appearance.The color will gradually fade as the dead skin cells slough off.

How Long Does it Last?

You can expect your tan to  last up to 5-7 days depending on your skin type, preparation and after care.

  Most people will develop natural even color from the solution if they follow the before and after recommendations completely.

 It is VERY important for the skin to be clean and free of any products before tanning.

 How Does it Work?

Tanning solution is professionally applied with a low pressure cool mist  while you stand inside a private booth with an extraction fan to prevent the inhalation of the solution overspray. The technician will give you step by step instructions  how to stand. You will experience an immediate tan that will continue to develop over the next 5-10 hours.

How Long Does it Take to Apply?

 It will  take about 10 minutes  to apply the tan, 10 minutes to set up and 10 minutes to pack up. 

Before your tan is applied you will have a brief skin analysis/ consultation.

Required Space

 5 feet by 5 feet and good lighting.  This is enough room for the booth, extraction fan and the technician to work in. We also need access to an electrical outlet.
